No time to rest

September 13, 2012

This will be the third weekend that I’ll spend abroad. First Malta, then the Finland ferry and now I’ll fly out to Vasa and spend a long weekend there (Fri-Mon). It’s been kind of hectic, but totally worth it, I haven’t had this fun in a long time. But I’m pretty sure this will be my last trip for a few weeks at least.

The reason for going to Vasa is that my sister recently got engaged and they’re holding an engagement party. I’m really looking forward to that, but I’m also looking forward to seeing all my friends and loved ones. I’ve only lived in Stockholm for 6 weeks, but it feels like 6 months.

I’m also really happy about my camera bag that I bought way back in March/April. I paid 120€ for it and boy was it worth it. Every trip I’ve been on, the backpack has always delivered. It’s not the biggest bag you can buy, but it can really take loads of stuff.
For example, I’ve just packed my bag for this Vasa trip. And this is what’s in it:

  • Canon 60D, 8mm Samyang, 50mm Canon, Speedlite 430EX/II
  • HP ProBook 13″ with charger
  • Phone charger
  • 5 t-shirts, 1 shirt, 4 pair of socks, 3 pair of boxers
  • Random stuff like passport and other documents

And it’s not even full yet. So anybody out there wondering if they should buy the Kata DR467i, do it!
