Detection (Game)

I wanted to see how hard it was to create a pacman like game, where the player is forced to move inside a set of walls. I later added a simple AI with simple path finding, the AI’s role is to hunt you down.

Version 1

In this version the player can move around the playground and there’s one enemy, the enemy knows constantly where you are, and will try to catch you.

Version 2

As in version one, the player can freely move around. The key difference between version one and version two is that the enemy does not know where the player is until the player is within range of the enemy detector.

In this version I have ported the enemy code into a prototype, which allows me to deploy several enemies at one time on the playground. Apart from this the AI got an upgrade in its path finding, previously the AI would move to random positions, now the AI can follow a predefined pathway.
